In this work, we relate quantum Wasserstein distance to the quantum Fisher information, a central quantity in quantum metrology. We also write down inequalities with the quantum Wasserstein distance based on entanglement criteria.

In this paper, we consider metrology with several copies of the quantum state. Some very weakly entangled states can reach maximal metrological usefulness in the limit of many copies. We also make general statements about the usefulness of a single copy of pure entangled states
