Now full impact of local election results can be seen, why so little coverage of Liberal Democrats coming 2nd & outperforming Conservatives? Greatest success since #PaddyAshdown era. Many councils like Cheltenham without any #Tory reps. Significant achievement going unnoticed by MSM, why?

This neatly sums up why under #FPTP we are being led by those who pay no attention whatsoever. It's no wonder the UK makes a series of atrocious decisions government after gvmnt after gvmnt.

I understand why the Tory’s don’t want PR but Labours stance baffles it annoys me more and more. I have voted in every election since 1967 never managed to put my cross next to a win (Unfortunately I have always live in a Tory )

Much fairer and more representative

The Tories are polling at ~20% and that will drop further by the time we get to November. They should vote no confidence in themselves as a last-gasp effort to survive.
