I was so honored to present @UAlbany’s highest honor, the Medallion of the University, to my friend and colleague William Kennedy this week. Our university and our city continue to benefit from his legacy as an educator, writer, and founder of the NYS Writers Institute.

In an attempt to make our streets safer, by removing illegally operated motorcycles from our streets we held a sweep last night. We seized 10, consisting of dirt bikes, street bikes, and a moped. Not sure when they thought it was legal to ride on sidewalks, ride on one wheel
