Georgia's Election Integrity Act requires counties to certify the election results by November 12th and we fully anticipate that counties will follow the law.

GA is ahead of this issue. Glad that others are finally taking action. I’m the 1st SOS to have photo ID for all forms of voting & to conduct a citizenship check of voter rolls. That’s why Heritage Foundation ranks Georgia #2 for election integrity and Bipartisan Policy Center tied for #1.

Whitfield County is ready for November! It was great spending today with our team in Whitfield County, ensuring the security of Dalton's election systems. The Board of Elections does an amazing job ensuring that American elections are decided only by American citizens. Great job!

Gilmer County is an election leader! It was great being in Ellijay this morning recognizing the hardworking election officials as a recipient of the EAGLE Award. They work hard to keep Georgia’s election system secure and understand the importance of citizen-only voting.

In other news I’ll be swearing in a new Lt. Governor, Butch Miller, later today.

Right now, 159 county election directors are working overtime to prepare for the November election. I appreciate the election directors who go above and beyond as mentors for their peers, and it was an honor visiting Greene County to present an EAGLE Award to their election team!
