Emlyn Hughes had a fantastic career at Anfield, but it came to an 46 years ago today. On 1 August 1979 he left the club and joined Wolverhampton Wanderers. Signed by Bill Shankly in 1967, Emlyn played 665 official games for LFC and captained the side that won loads of trophies!
