All you media outlets reaching out for the Indigenous commentary / perspective this week and snap back to regular programming on Jan 27th aren’t just part of the problem; you ARE the problem.

This, by Helliar is unconscionable. It’s an example of how Media enable & cover up racism. Leaving aside victim blaming and gaslighting -imagine exhorting victims of violence to ‘join’ with the perpetrator, who hasn’t admitted culpability nor shown contrition for the harm caused?

Me and this legend Cameron saved someone’s life yesterday. We saw a brother lying unconscious in the middle of the road. Thanks to his past experience in dealing with seizure patients we we were able to help resuscitate him until the heroes from @sa_ambulanceservice arrived 🚑

Africans left East Africa migrating to Australia 72,000years ago, mostly by walking for 22,000years (much of what is now underwater today was dry land during Ice Ages - see map) and arriving 50,000years ago. Outside Africa, Australia is oldest area of continuous human occupation.
