Having accidentally left my last statue of “Our Lady of Walsingham” at the Nottingham University CathSoc, it’s great to have a new one arrive at the Presbytery today… The patroness of the Ordinariate in the UK, the Queen of England, and my beloved Lady!

Turns out Lincoln Cathedral allows Catholic priests in for free… which is nice of them. A bit unfortunate that the Verger didn’t know if St Hugh of Lincoln was buried there… (He is!).

Currently reading (well listening to) “Unruly” by David Mitchell, a very entertaining romp through the history of England. Would recommend.
