On a walk with my foster dog Bronco during our lunch break, we could barely schlep ourselves down the block! It served as a reminder to thank all our healthcare and essential workers for trudging through the winter storm as people's lives and well-being were dependent on them.

My Buba was captured infront of her home at the age of 12 and remained in Auschwitz until she escaped before the liberation. Her whole family was murdered in the Holocaust. Today and beyond I commemorate those who were lost, those who survived and the decedents of the survivors.
