Big News! We're thrilled to announce that the Mponela 2 Resource Centre has received assistive devices and learning resources for inclusive Education! Thanks to the unwavering efforts of our champions, the Ministry has provided Hand Frames, Stylus, and Braille papers.

Our advocacy team, joined by Rays of Hope and Shule Direct, has been in Kenya for an Inclusive Education Learning visit, hosted by Kesho Kenya. Kenyan Ministry of Education, has taught us how IE Policy Implementation Plan has become a cornerstone for systemic change.

Our team had the privilege of paying a heartfelt visit to Inkosi Mponela and Senior Chief Dzoole in Dowa District! We were deeply moved by the dedication of these esteemed traditional leaders in championing inclusive education in their communities.

We are recruiting participants for our six months Street Business School Training in Chinsapo. The training which aims at igniting potential and end poverty targets parents of differently-abled children. Registration runs up to 15 May 2024. The training is free of charge.

We are excited to be at the African Disability Summit on Assistive Technology in Uganda. Today, we are showcasing our MDAT-IDEC, an innovative and user-friendly technology currently used in Malawi to screen children for developmental delays and disabilities.

We are honored to have Francis Mugwanya, Founder and Director of Father's Heart Mobility Ministry, as our keynote speaker. He was given a wheelchair in grade 4, which changed his life. Starting with his own salary, he later partnered with organizations and generous individuals.

Our panelists are Dr. Abdul Busuulwa, Mr. Allan Kabaale, Ms. Olive Namutebi, Dr. Prossy Nakanwa, and Mr. Akoli Joseph; professionals with diverse disabilities sharing their experiences using assistive devices and how these have helped them succeed in their careers.
