A patient once came in with an inguinal hernia. His blood pressure reading was 200/110 mmHg, he was told the need for hospital admission to reduce the BP. He said that he came to the hospital because of the hernia and refused admission.

A middle-aged man was rushed to the emergency department after suffering a stroke. Can you guess his blood pressure? 290/180 mmHg. First time seeing BP that high.

do the work. do it well, please. let them complain about other things, but not the quality of your work.

BP check is not only for old people. Something crazy happened recently. A young lady came to plastic surgery clinic with ingrown nails. Normal routine clinic vitals revealed BP of 240/120mmHg. If not for that clinic appointment she could go for years without knowing.

We need to stop this culture of body shaming people. you don't know the health condition one is battling with. Gaining weight is an interplay of many things which can range from Genetics, medical conditions, medications or anything We should try and have empathy. You don't

Hepatitis B virus is more resistant than many viruses. It survive outside the body for at least 7 days on surfaces. Even dried blood on objects like: razors needles medical instruments surfaces (tables, floors) can still transmit infection within that 7-day window.
