Books have largely disappeared from kids' movies & television because showrunners fear alienating kids who don't read. But I promise you: if you write beloved books into your shows, if your characters read for pleasure, there will be young viewers who fall in love with reading.

Call me old-fashioned but I think kids were a million times better off when they grew up reading books with these sorts of illustrations in them.

It seems like we’re living through a uniquely dystopic moment where all that once was good is being uprooted and destroyed for no good reason beyond a tiny tiny minority expanding their wealth.

I don’t care what anyone says there is no better feeling than walking into a movie theater sitting down and watching a film on the big screen!
