Humbled by this recognition today. I had all the emotions at once from wondering why so many people were entering my classroom to surprised to honored. The last couple of weeks have been incredibly hard, so it’s nice to be reminded that teaching is what I’m truly called to do.

Algebra 2 took their first individual assessment of the year yesterday, so we’re spending today team-building through circle talks and completing puzzles. I need them to be learners who work well together, and I’ve found these reset days really helpful!
