Still processing what happened Saturday-I’ve been helping out doing some tidying in the local woods here in Huddersfield. A Teddy Bears’ Picnic was announced with no idea how many would come-80 was the count at one point.A note thanking us for caring for the area was overwhelming

Bit of local history for me. These #Roman tiles are from Slack Roman fort, #Huddersfield. Stamped 'fourth Cohors Breucorum' (From the Balkans). Slack was on the Chester to York road. They were possibly produced in the Roman tile kilns at Grimescar. #FindsFriday #LeedsMuseum

When you stand and listen to the local stream rush by and forget it passes through the local park on the way to the river! Sadly much of it decided to stop in the park on the way.
