The Friends  were formed during the Spring/Summer, but we actually received full-on recognition when the Charity Commission registered us on the 1st of December that year  – We could raise funds, have a bank account and really get to work! 2/3

And they gave us a grand certificate to prove it! As a birthday “celebration”, our AGM was on the 5th of Dec. And now our statutory annual returns have been compiled, completed and filed – all well within time! So , now we are into our third year – which should be busy 3/3

If you've walked along Thorneyholme Drive, and spotted these trees in College Wood and wondered what's going on, the friends had a working day last weekend, and cut back the lower sections of the ivy growing up the trees. Now the upper ivy will die off and the trees can thrive.
