I've survived day one of looking after a 9 month old rottweiler puppy! She's really no trouble if you overlook the 3 or 4 holes she's dug in the lawn....

At 4pm today we decorated the church for Advent. It took us a while, unravelling the lights for the tree was a challenge, but, we worked as a team and overcame the problems. Tomorrow the decorations will be added by the congregation.

We will be inviting all at St Hilda's this morning to place a decoration on the tree to celebrate the first Sunday of Advent.

Should have posted this sooner but I'm going with the "better late than never" idea. I'm hoping this will be a new tradition for St Hilda's, it was lovely to have all of the church family helping to decorate the tree and it looks stunning.

I didn't buy them for anyone but that's because I'm hoping they'll be buying them for me...🤞🏻😂

This is my church, its where I was married & my children baptised. It's where you'll find me on the majority of Sunday mornings (health permitting) & many other days of the week. Its a rather plain building but the inside is beautiful. Even more so when full of our church family

Well what a surprise, turned on radio while in the studio earlier. First shock was realising they were playing James Blunt, second bigger shock was realising it wasn't You're Beautiful but Goodbye My Lover. Proof he has more than just that one song. Wish they would play more.
