Check out this chat I had about my work on Boiling Point with @InnaOsmol and Liz Surovic! Hopefully a good summary of my work. It was a pleasure to chat with everyone!

This trip was a joy, and I learn so much every time I visit thr Pilbara! Big thanks to everyone involved and to UNSW Science for the write up!

Thanks for providing an opportunity for an aspiring astronaut to ask a current astronaut a question about the Aussie Space Sector! #QandA Not sure it seems possible to stay researching Mars in Aus, but I'm thrilled to see Dr Meganne Christian repping Aussies in the astronaut corps 🚀

The ACA's Prof. Martin Van Kranendonk led a trip of NASA European Space Agency CSIRO & Australian Space Agency scientists and program leaders to the Pilbara, WA to see the oldest convincing evidence of life. These 2.7-3.5 billion year old stromatolite fossils help guide the search for life on Mars.

Day 2 #ASRC! Dr Carl Seubert of SmartSatCRC, the 1st plenary today, has reminded us all of Australia's history of bold exploration to conduct ground-breaking science. Aus can and should continue this legacy! But we need the funding & jobs for fundamental sciences as well as R&D

Happy UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 International Geodiversity Day! I'm so proud to work in geoscience & geoconservation for Earth & Mars. It means the world to me to spread my love of protecting our geodiversity at #UNCOPUOS or in this interview: unesco.org/en/articles/ma… What amazing geoscientists surround me😍

🌍 #GeodiversityDay is not just about rocks and fossils, its also about the people who bring the stories of our planet to life. 💬 Be inspired by Aswatha🇮🇳, Sherene🇯🇲, Priscilla🇺🇸, and Clare🇦🇺 who share their passion in this UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳 article: unesco.org/en/articles/ma…

Recently, I spent a month at The Mars Society's MDRS Analog research station. The 2 crews taught me a lot about research, living on Mars, myself, and my own work and how I could conduct it on Mars. I'm super grateful to have been supported by The Mars Society and marssocietyaustralia

1/3 Earlier this year, geoconservationist and Australian Centre for Astrobiology PhD candidate @clarefletcher42 spent four weeks living and working at the Mars Desert Research Station in Utah. This remote station provides scientists with a “testing ground” for identifying evidence of early life.

Very excited to share that one calendar year from me arriving at the The Mars Society's MDRS Analog, my paper on the work I did there is out! Huge thanks to Crews 291 and 292 and to marssocietyaustralia for all their help 🚀 doi.org/10.1016/j.pss.…
