Last Sunday the Palms Apartments Tenants Association hosted a press conference & rally marking 1 year since a devastating fire changed their lives. Since then a series of landlords have come and gone, and they now face renoviction. But they are fighting back together 💪 💪 💪

If the return of thousands of people to their homes is a "resounding defeat" that Israel will "pay for for generations", then what was this war being fought for, precisely?

Tenant Rights Workshop Tuesday evening! Workshops are a space for tenants to share experiences and collectively discuss solutions to housing problems such as uninhabitable conditions, eviction threats, rent increases, or landlord harassment. We bring snacks and provide childcare.

Tenant Power Study Group tomorrow (Tuesday) 6:30-8:30 PM at 3532 Whitney Ave. No need to read before the meeting and it's fine to join in without having attended previous meetings. We'll be diving into Chapter 1 of Abolish Rent. Reach out if you need help accessing the book.
