Our brilliant team UoD Medicine have shown that DPP1 inhibitors block multiple key inflammatory processes including reducing mucins/mucus, reducing pro-inflammatory proteins like azurocidin, and prevent protease cleavage of antimicrobial proteins pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39938076/
