Nursery had an amazing time at Forest School last week! We built dens, mastered knot-tying, and helped water/plant in the Science Garden. Plus, the hot, rainy weather meant lots of slugs and newts! ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒ๐ŸฆŽ #ForestSchool #NurseryAdventures

Last week in maths, Year 1 learnt all about time. First, they explored a clock and identified its different features including the numbers, minute hand and hour hand. Then the children used the clocks to begin to tell the time to hour.

In PSHE, Year 3 have been learning about gender stereotypes and exploring the roles often linked to men and women. They discussed how these ideas can be unfair and talked about how everyone should be free to choose their own path, no matter their gender.

Last week, Year 1 have been exploring money in maths. They did plenty of hands-on learning to familiarise themselves with the amounts that we have in coins and notes. This helped them to notice the colour, sizes and shape of our money.
