Goodbye 2023 election cycle ✌️ Hello 2024! 👋 While POTUS is of course important, that’s NOT my focus. For me, 2024 means TWO things: 1) #FinalFiveVoting ballot question for NYC. 2) #FinalFiveVoting ballot question for Nevada. Please join me on this journey 🙏

While POTUS is of course important, that’s NOT my focus.

For me, 2024 means TWO things:

1) #FinalFiveVoting ballot question for NYC.

NEWS from Common Cause: “There are over 3.1 million registered voters in NY who are politically unaffiliated voters…24% of the electorate & roughly a third live in NYC.” Rising numbers of Independents is leading to more calls for nonpartisan elections. commoncause.org/new-york/resou…

“There are bad voting laws, terrible voting laws and then there’s New York, where the laws are systemically designed to disenfranchise.” -Open Primaries President John Opdycke in the The Wall Street Journal openprimaries.org/new_yorks_vote…

.Harry Siegel in his thoughtful column on problems Mayor Eric Adams is facing also makes a compelling argument on how broken our electoral rules are & need for nonpartisan elections so vast # of voters who aren’t ideologues can participate. We are working on this. Final Five Voting NYC

Organizermemes Yall the answer is slowly get electoral reform state by state. We can do this in 25 states simply by ballot measure. Nevada Question 3 is a HUGE national race to get behind this November if we want to effect change. We have a Final Five ballot question in NYC as well.

This was a good read. I'm a registered NYC voter for over 25 years. Past 10 as "unaffiliated". I am totally disenfranchised from the nomination process that I pay for. Then, I am offered 0 choice on most races voters, which I also pay for +8:1 matching donation.

This mailer arrived in my mailbox from NY’s Board of Elections on the same day that Joe Biden clinched the Dem nomination and there are no Republican challengers to the leading candidate. It begs the question: what is the cost to taxpayers and what is actual turnout to

NYC Board of Elections Ny Whitaker I would love to vote in this primary. Unfortunately independents are disenfranchised by the self serving 2 party system that is NOT a part of the US constitution. Final Five Voting NYC
