Can I support these positive thoughts, diagnosed 2011 seems an eternity away, NHS support was better than now. Why? It would be much better if individuals & peer support groups lead the needs of People Living with Dementia. Only those with diagnosis know their needs B4 too late.

Sometimes I think I must be wearing a mask. The reactions I receive are strange in my eyes. Sometimes the delay in talking to me and the distant looks I get, are disconcerting. Does anyone else feel this way when living with Dementia?? Maybe it's getting worse, confusing me!

Maggi says hello to everyone in FFL (Nottm) she told me off for spelling her the English way, she & Brian wish you all well. Saturday at short mat bowls. This is the second time Maggi has donated, she is a wonderful person.

đŸ—Łïž This winter, matters will get worse rather than better if the Government does not take urgent steps to address hardship. The autumn budget must deliver an urgent plan for hardship. Read more from Katie Schmuecker: jrf.org.uk/deep-poverty-a

There’s more mixed news on another Alzheimer’s disease drug as donanemab is approved by the MHRA but is not recommended by NICE for use on the NHS.

Nice one George, keep telling them, until we get Governmental support. So we can appreciate being alive. Not dying many times, as Alzheimer's Soc. suggests.

A child or grandchild seldom understand why their parent/grand parent; who someone who was so strong a character is dwindling away and just staring out the window, saying nothing. They need to be told they are still loved everyday in our dreams. The ability to say it is stolen.

Another step closer, perhaps I will live to see a successful treatment introduced. What are your thoughts? đŸ€” I wished it was 2011, and I had a better chance of beating it or keeping more of my brain alive to combat my moods and depression at bay. Forgetting is bearable.

Worrying that acceptance of a significant change. Does not meet with more opposition. I for one cannot afford to lose this benefit, I would be forced to sell my house. With all the other price increases, my savings have been depleted to survive nondrinker/nonsmoker/stay in.

How much do you really know about dementia? It’s the UK’s biggest killer - but our research tells us that people don’t actually know that much about it. We headed to the streets to test that theory and bring some conversations about dementia out from behind closed doors.
