Ok, heere we go! The The Roslin Institute scientists are BACK at it again at American Society for Virology annual conference 2025 with a masterful talk from Christine Tait-Burkard on FCoV-23 emergence in Cyprus. Oh, did I mention she got 2(!) Nature papers from this? Truly awesome stuff #asv2025


Following up, fantastic presentation from our very own Andrew John Hanton ✊🏻🇺🇦 on the development of an siRNA library to identify CoV host-pathogen interactions! So clear, so good, The Roslin Institute keeps delivering! #asv2025


Next up! Absolutely phenomenal postdoc Rose Blake from @thegraylab at the The Roslin Institute working on CRISPR screens to identify IAV host-dependency factors. Beautifully explained and heaps of data🔥 #asv2025


Not from the roslin institute, but phenomenal UK based scientist nonetheless, Rachael Dempsey from the TheHiscoxLab at University of Liverpool. So cool to see some UK-based MERS-CoV Spike characterisation. So so good! #asv2025


We almost finish off with...me. It was a blast to present my PhD work at #asv2025. Thankful to American Society for Virology for this opportunity. Now time to chill but if you were there and you enjoyed my talk just hmu I promise I'm funny.


We just concluded the final ECR day from the UK-ICN ECR sector of the UK-ICN. It was a great day full of fantastic science, great talks and a very insightful career panel at the end. Thanks to all the speakers and currently ready for the AGM on the next couple days!
