GRANT IN ACTION: Creating Student Centered Learning Spaces – First Colony Middle School Discovery Program teachers expanded learning spaces for 6th graders, thanks to a $4,991 grant awarded by Fort Bend Education Foundation. Thanks to a $1,448 school site grant to fund “Positive Behavior Support Through Board Games,” Fort Settlement Middle School students can play Uno, Connect Four, Sorry, checkers, chess and other games with their peers during lunch as a result of the school’s Positive Behavior Rewards Program.
