Great practice night last night and a very warm welcome from Sampford Brett Bells. Good to ring at the tower where Dad rings regularly, eldest daughter had plenty of PH5&6 practice. We rang Stedman5, Double Oxford, Oxford TB and Cambridge S6 😀

Tried to get artistic at Waltham St Lawrence this morning with the photo. Rang R&C, first by number, then by name. This was because we rang the back 5 of 6 and people forgot their number. Problem was someone had problems with names too 🤪#bellringing #sundayserviceringing

A very early frosty start for a Quarter Peal at Shottesbrooke after a very busy week. Cubs at bellringing twice, more 41 surprise minor Thursday, new rope fitting at another local tower Friday, striking competition on Saturday!

A QP of the 4 Twineham doubles methods at Shottesbrooke this morning. Followed by service ringing at All Saints Boyne Hill, great to have the full 8 ringing on the Sunday before All Saints day!

Well, it’s over for another year, and what a result! The Bucks & Berks Young Ringers came 4th in the 8-bell call changes competition, fantastic result. To say I’m proud doesn’t even begin to cover it! Also, a shout out to the many organisers, what a location! #RWNYC24
