If you’re creative like Steve Jobs, caring like Mother Theresa, persistent like Thomas Edison, clever like MacGyver, and a showman like P.T Barnum… you might be a teacher.

Had a lovely day thinking together with #sd60 educators in Fort St John. How does the climate and environment create opportunities for thinking about math in different ways? How is outdoor learning experienced in the different regions of our province? BCAMT #BCAMTreggio

Loved meeting and working with grades 4-7 teachers today in Fort St. John on behalf of the BCAMT. The weather and scenery didn’t hurt either! Thanks for joining me in the adventure Adam and @jnovakowski38

Our school admin started Workshop Wednesdays. Teachers who have a skill, lesson, etc to share is given a sub for the day, and teaches the other teachers all day during their preps. It's nice to see that admin believe in their staff and value their skills. #hacklearning

Math tasks do not teach. They provide opportunities for teachers & students to learn & deepen their mathematical skills, understanding & knowledge. How we engage with the tasks (questions, context, environment etc.,) determines the qualitity & depth of the teaching & learning.
