Heat Advisory will be in effect Sunday from 12-8pm for the El Paso metro. Highs up to 106 are possible in El Paso, perhaps a degree or two higher in areas such as the Lower Valley and Fabens. Drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in the a/c and shaded areas.

4 PM Temperature Check🌡️ All locations areawide are sitting in the upper 90s/low 100s this afternoon. El Paso has gotten to triple-digits for the 8th time this year. Believe it or not, this is actually the coolest day we will see for *at least* the next 5 days...

Heat Advisory remains in effect for El Paso/Hudspeth counties, and begins for Las Cruces/Deming tomorrow at 12 noon. These will last through Monday evening, as highs ranging 104-107 will be possible the next 3 days. This will likely be extended to include Tuesday as well.
