We can prevent breast cancer! I met this strong woman Meron Kebede, at Dawit Dreams Class in April 2021. She was diagnosed with a stage 3 breast cancer in February 2019 and underwent through extensive treatment and came out a cancer free champion.

To create awareness and raise money to her charity, Pink Lotus Ethiopia to support women to get treatment so feel free to donate. I've set up 200km barefoot challenge in 9 weeks, already did 87.5km & need to do 102.5km until 14 Nov & will do the final 10k at the 2021 Total EGER.

I did #10K #run in my village afternoon, normally enjoy morning. 2 #inspiration:1) a boy in his early 20s was almost fainting when i go past him, so I have to run back to get him something to eat. 2) 7 boys pushing a car, its not moving so I lent a hand wz motivation, car flew!

What is your special moment in Ethiopian athletics history? Where & with whom did you see it? Mine is the 2000 Sydney Olympic 10,000m, where our own Haile Gebrselassie & Tergat neck-neck! I watched it with my dad (Gashe), we were sitting 6m away & at end we're both glued to the TV!!
