An emergency motion has just been passed in support of dancers laid off by Phoenix Dance Theatre #EquityARC2022 Equity This union of 47,000 workers just told the management to reverse these senseless & unnecessary layoffs!

NEW 🚨 This morning over 1,700 people have signed the petition to save dancers’ jobs at Phoenix Dance Theatre Phoenix management must immediately reverse these lay offs It’s time for Phoenix management to get round the bargaining table with Equity and offer a remedy to the union

An absolute honour to represent Equity at the Durham Miners' Gala yesterday. So many of our members pivoted to key worker roles in the pandemic and I was privileged to represent them, and to see us stand alongside our sister unions fighting for fair pay and dignity at work
