Making a good paragraph great! I’m trying to squeeze in exam technique and writing into our busy 2 year KS4 so this was 10 mins spent discussing what was good about the paragraph but how to make it great. Next time I think we will colour code good and great to develop it further.

Using a wonderful resource from Kieran Rhys within my whole class feedback today. Their exam demonstrated undeveloped analysis so I modelled how to ‘explode’ a quotation by saying a lot about a little! 💥💣 Students then completed their own explosions to progress their analysis ✅
