Employment Minister Richard Lochhead this week met with staff from StartScotland delivering Scottish Government's Fair Start Scotland service. He also spoke with people receiving the #FairStartScotland service about their experiences of looking to move into and sustain work.
.Scottish Government is investing up to £24 million for Fair Start Scotland to support disabled people, and those with health conditions or other barriers get into work. There were 45,030 people helped by Fair Start Scotland up to March 2022, with more than a third supported into work.

Scotland’s Third Sector plays a crucial role tackling issues across communities. Scottish Government invests around £500 million each year into the Third Sector via a range of programmes supporting community empowerment, mental wellbeing, children and families, and health and social care.
