BREAKING: Our #DABIll amendment calling for an introduction of a non-discrimination clause to ensure that all women who experience domestic abuse receive equal and effective protection and support has PASSED in the House of Lords 310 votes to 232 votes. ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿

The inclusion of a non-discrimination clause is in line with the #IstanbulConvention. We hope the Government will now take steps to ratify this international 'gold standard' for responding to violence against women and girls and incorporate the convention into domestic law.
