People from across Islington came together in unity tonight for a silent peace vigil at Islington Green. The vigil was in support of all members of the community in Islington who have been affected by the crisis in the Middle East.

People from different backgrounds and faiths said prayers and lit candles as symbols of peace, before standing in silence together. The vigil was jointly organised by Islington Faiths Forum, Islington Hate Crime Forum and Islington Council
