Adding to this that Chad knew how to go from calm to unhinged in a heartbeat. That's what makes Michael Michael... he's constantly keeping the demons from his upbringing at bay in order to maintain peace. But, that inward struggle causes a tension that Chad knew how to express.

I just think it's real funny that Willow is harping on that #Millow didn't tell each other the truth when she told the biggest and most egregious lie of all. One of her lies equaled her literally dying and lying about it but his "lies" equaled hurt feelings. GIRL. #GH

Rory did great in his scenes today! Ngl, I've been having a difficult time seeing him as Michael because his mannerisms & response to situations weren't quite right... which is fair since he just took over the role... but today, I finally saw Michael!

Context matters. In that moment, Michael quickly shook Willow in an attempt to wake her up from psychosis and understand what needed to be done. The priority was to get her out of there so as not to scare Wiley. The implication that this was an abusive moment is inaccurate.
