First clinic done on my own and first car crash all in one day 🤣 I am DONEEEEE with this week already

Almost 2 years since dad’s life changing stroke that left him totally paralysed down his left hand side. This dance meant more to me than I can ever explain ❤️ #fatherdaughter

I’m wearing shorts to run in for the first time in 8 years and I’m not sure how I feel about having so much leg on show, these legs are NOT designed to be on show 🤣🤣🤣

But the boys have gone off on a coast path adventure for the morning and I’m heading to #parkrun on my own… it feels so weird!

A stranger commented today on how steady Gus was walking around on the prom and ohhhh gosh my little heart went because I’m so proud of my little clubbie when I honestly thought at one point he’d never walk 🥲🥲

Today has taken extra long to get ready because I had an argument with Gus about the fact he couldn’t get into the washing machine. Cue a 10 minute tantrum, crocodile tears and all 🤣 #toddlerlife

Holiday mode = activated ☀️ living here is GREAT 🥰

Parenting when poorly is, well, bloody hard 🤣 Grateful to fireman Sam and Bluey for doing a significant amount of parenting for me the last few days 😩🙈

Parenting is weird because one day, you’re kinda cool and the next, you’re taking photos of your kids first wee on the potty

Does anyone else have this horrendous ‘going to work anxiety’ type thing that sets in the evening before a work day? Like I genuinely have so much anxiety around work, it can’t be healthy 😭😭😭

Probs cus I’m actually just not cut out to be a nurse to be honest but we’ll skip that bit cus I literally cannot do anything else 🙈

Grateful to the team at Tân CGC / MAWW Fire & Gorsaf Dân Aberystwyth / Fire Station for their speedy response today after my washing machine started smoking and sparking! 🙈 amazing team and made one little boys day at the same time as making sure we were safe 🤩

Just so amazed by this guy really. Not sure many people could have run round that course 2.5 years after a major, life changing stroke. But yeah, my dad can 🤩🎉

Off to London to the National Maritime Museum to see the 200 years of the RNLI exhibition! Quite surreal to be going to see a photo of yourself in a museum 🤣

Nursing is weird because one minute I’m looking after a toe amputation and the next I’m in the tea room tucking into tuna pasta. Proper grim really init.
