Some VCs should create a Fellows-type program for manufacturing/test/hardware engineers. A smidge of social prestige can steer fantastic engineers towards the skill gap. I consult for due diligence for hard tech investors. If they had someone in house .

Product development isn't just about products, it's about understanding people - both the ones you create for and the ones you create with. Dive deep into empathy if you don't want to see dusty prototypes in your garage in 10 yrs.

You can either spend a fortune validating your product idea after building and launch or you can launch before you build. Solopreneurs and inventors get this wrong all the time.

Launching a product? Don't forget to validate your idea with small tests before diving in. It's all about resonating with your audience!

In my time doing public facing projects, community input has been both the best and the worst thing. You can get really good insight, but one sandbagging nimby can shut down an entire project politically. That isn't democratic in the least. tmj4.com/about-us/light…
