Thinking today, on the tenth anniversary of the Berkeley tragedy, of Aoife Beary, Olivia Burke, Eoghan Culligan, Ashley Donohoe, Lorcán Miller, Niccolai Schuster and Eimear Walsh, and of their family and friends. They will always be remembered as part of the University College Dublin community.

As part of the opening conference address, Dr. Pádraig Kirk, MD of Oide, expressed heartfelt thanks to all administrative teams across the organisation for their tireless dedication, professionalism and invaluable guidance. His words were met with a warm round of applause.

I’m at a loss as to why one would object to Ireland making it the default position that everyone is an organ donor unless they opt out. It will literally save many lives.
