A great day spent out at Riverside Country Park 🌳 Thank you to all those keeping to the path during the high tide, many waders were pushed up close to the banks. Always great to bump into LowCarbonKev not birding with his camera, chair, camouflage and boots 🤣or was he lying 🧐

Dunlin very close today at Riverside Country Park!

This week during an onsite visit, we were treated to a fantastic view of a gorgeous short-eared owl! Fun fact- with their global distribution, short- eared owls are capable of travelling vast distances. They have also been known to land on ships hundreds of miles from land.

Our brand new information boards are up at Cliffe Pools😍 These are here to showcase what local wildlife to look out for as well as which routes to take 🦮🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ How many signs can you spot when out and about!? #birdwise

#HappyMonday everyone With stormy weather today here's some pics from last week Black Tailed Godwits in smart summer plumage around but the high tides meant limited space for roosting Oystercatchers and Redshank A few Brents still around too and plenty of gulls #birdwise
