Zimmermann led UW-Stevens Point to back-to-back D3 College World Series appearances. Drafted by the Nationals in the 2nd round: He appeared in 2 All-Star games, had a no-hitter, an NL wins title.

9. Caleb Boushley (Active)

Starting in club baseball before shining at D3 Wisconsin-La Crosse: He made his MLB debut with the Brewers in 2023, striking out 5 in 2.1 innings. "It's better than I dreamed."

The Ohio State Baseball Players of the Summer is highlighted by outfielder Reggie Bussey, who impressed for the Eau Claire Express in the Northwoods League. Ace pitcher Blaine Wynk showcased his ability for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks on the Cape, striking out 22 hitters in 24.2 innings of work.
