Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning at the Eau Claire Event District today. If your RSVP was confirmed, ECPD is asking you to enter via Kane Rd. onto 20th Ave. before 11 am. If you arrive after that, use the entrance at 20th Ave. and County Hwy T. Delays are expected.

Traffic Alert - UPDATE ECPD is shutting down Kane Road and 20th Avenue as of 11 a.m. Nobody will be allowed into the event via Kane Road. To exit the area, head north to WIS 29. ECPD is also asking drivers to NOT park their vehicles on the side of the road.

The cameras on our license plate readers are so clear they recently picked up this "fin"-tastic entry from the Sculpture Tour Eau Claire and noted that it hadn't moved in 2 hours. We think it was a fluke - not on porpoise. 🐬

Last week, ECPD Officer Mark Vang utilized a LifeVac Choking Rescue Device to help save a 21-year-old man that had a piece of food lodged in his throat. The LifeVac and effective Heimlich maneuver applications helped to dislodge the food. Phenomenal job Officer Vang!
