Everything serious is better experienced sincerely. it's possible to sincerely hold gravitas without collapsing into a stifling and rigid seriousness. theory: being serious is a triggered reaction where un/semi-consciously survival feels threatened

loving the arc of "who has seen further into the nature of mind?" Seems the west first relied on philosopher's concepts, then moved to relational explorations like psychotherapy, and is now heading to direct experience via science of meditation & psychedelics.
