Look at this incredible high resolution radar loop of #HurricaneDorian from NASA #GOES satellite! Notice the high pressure shearing on the northwest quadrant. The result is it’s holding back heavy weather here at the moment... but forecast says it won’t stay that way.

VIDEO of #HurricaneDorian shows 62 mph wind and rain whipping thru Kennedy’s Launch Control Center parking lot at 3am 🌬 🌧 Data from our 250 foot tower clocked the top windspeed at 90 mph. The closest approach Dorian’s eye to the Cape was 70 nautical miles.
