"We need both emission reductions & Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR)" is the duality I find increasingly problematic. The problem is that we aren't reducing emissions. The statement should be conditional: "If we have rapid emission reductions, then we need both" 1/

Very happy to share our latest article in Energy & Environmental Science. We show that TPMS structures can increase mass transfer rates in CCS absorbers by >50% vs traditional packings, while maintaining comparable pressure drops and gas/liquid loads! doi.org/10.1039/d2ee03…
