IMGs have gone on too long without being represented well within the BMA. A group of IMGs who are BMA representatives have now decided that this has gone on long enough. We will be writing a motion to make sure IMGs are well represented within the BMA. But we need your help.

I’m worried this is exactly the kind of narrative the new divisive policy from BMA Resident Doctor Committee enables and silently nurtures.

It's bizarre that when things don't happen quickly in hospital the default response is 'requesting doctor needs to chase it up'. It's tackling the problem from the wrong end. If I request something, it should happen without multiple further interventions on my part.

A referral to the GMC carries significant mortality risk. Yet it does not seem to be a priority for the GMC to address this. Instead they focus on semantics and enabling deterioration of quality of medical care in the UK. Enough is enough.
