Abortion bans kill women. They criminalize life-saving care for pregnant patients, sacrificing their actual lives for the hypothetical interests of a fetus. A vote to ban abortion is a vote to inflict unnecessary and avoidable agony and death on women. These laws are sadistic.

This is a critical moment for understanding the NYPD. Cops shot 3 people over a $3 subway fare. We need to know this isn’t exceptional. They shoot people for no reason frequently. Top brass in under investigation—we need to know corruption is the norm. The problem is policing.
