Today marks the close of an 18-year chapter as an elementary health & PE teacher. I’m so grateful for the experiences, relationships, and growth. Now begins an exciting new chapter as an assistant professor at West Chester University! 💜💛🐏 #NewBeginnings #WestChesterUniversity

🚀 Day 1 of STEAM Camp at Northern Lehigh School District was packed with hands-on fun! Campers built & coded Sphero Battle Bots, engineered neon chains & towers, explored Newton’s 3rd Law, and designed budget-friendly race cars. Our guest speakers today were engineers Afua B. & Catie C. #nlsd4u

Day 2 of STEAM Camp Northern Lehigh School District brought more hands-on excitement! Campers battled Sphero Bots, built basketball hoops, explored moon craters, cracked escape room puzzles, & engineered budget-friendly race cars. Today’s speaker, Chad Schwartz from Lehigh Gap Nature Center.

Day 3 of STEAM Camp at Northern Lehigh School District was full of creativity and discovery! Campers built island huts, explored moon phases, launched catapults, worked with robotics, and made pattern bracelets. Today’s guest speaker was Katie Moore from Health Network Laboratories.🧪 #nlsd4u

Day 4 of STEAM Camp at Northern Lehigh School District was all about innovation & exploration! Campers tested their huts in wind storms, built solar ovens, created stop motion characters, & engineered balloon-powered cars. Today’s guest speaker was Liesel Gross, from Lehigh County Authority.💧

Day 5 of STEAM Camp Northern Lehigh School District was full of creativity and teamwork! Campers tested “message in a bottle” builds, cooked s’mores in solar ovens, snapped stills of stop motion characters, & raced balloon-powered cars. Today’s guest speaker was Doug Boswell from McClure. 🏗️

Day 6 of STEAM Camp at Northern Lehigh School District was packed with hands-on discovery! Campers built catapults, created constellation projectors, designed egg protectors, & filmed stop motion LEGO scenes. We also took a virtual trip to Longwood Gardens to explore careers in horticulture! 🌿

Day 7 of STEAM Camp at Northern Lehigh School District was full of problem-solving & creativity! Ss tackled an escape room, completed a web quest, filmed stop motion LEGO scenes, & tested their egg-drop builds. Guest speaker Dominic Barons (CLIU) shared what it’s like to be a content creator!💻
