The Young Leaders had a very interesting and meaningful conversations with the Board of Directors from the Fundación Consejo España - EE. UU. at Casa de América! Gracias por la oportunidad!

First, we had lunch with José Ignacio “Nacho” Torreblanca, Director of the Madrid Office, Eurasian Council on Foreign Affairs (ECFA). Nacho is very knowledgeable about history & international relations & he welcomed questions & insights from our #YoungLeaders, who offered their perspective on relevant issues.

Come visit the American Physiological Society booth #637 at the 2022 SACNAS Diversity Conference. What a full circle to be back @sacnas, where I have learned and benefited so much for my scientific career and now recruiting for APS. Was privileged to meet today with American Physiological Society Porter Fellows along with Dr. Heddwen Brooks, PhD, AJP-Renal Editor-in-Chief to discuss tips on getting your work published. A great group of students with great questions! We missed Mark Frey due to plane issues, but he shared a great video.
