Today, the Dallas Police Department honored fallen Officers Preston Hale, #231, and Reserve Officer Joe C. Jones, #R445, with ceremonial street toppers at Flowers Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard, and at North Fitzhugh Avenue and Live Oak Street.

Today, DPD honored fallen Officer Donald Tucker, Sr., with a street topper at Valley Ridge & Mixon. Killed in the line of duty on Dec. 13, 1973, Officer Tucker was a U.S. Army vet, devoted father, and loving husband. Chief Comeaux, DPD members, and family attended the ceremony.
