It was a pleasure to welcome Josh MacAlister OBE MP to Pears Cumbria School of Medicine (PCSM) last week. He met with PCSM staff and students to discuss medical education and training the next generation of doctors for Cumbria.

Students from PCSM and the University of Cumbria took part in a training session at the immersive suite at our Fusehull Street campus. This can be used to simulate a GP surgery, hospital ward, surgery, at-home medical visit and support anatomy learning and skills-building.
