Today, our officers stood shoulder to shoulder, as we have for the last 24 years, in remembrance of all those who were lost during the tragic events of 9/11 and those who we have lost due to related illnesses. We will #NeverForget.

Today, your 62 Precinct took a moment to reflect on the events of 9/11 and all the lives lost, recalling the sacrifice so many first responders gave that day (and all the days following). Let us remember two of our 9/11 related deaths, Captain Cantalino and Lieutenant Delaney.

62 Precinct members were invited to a 9/11 Memorial Service "United We Stand," hosted by NYS Assemblymember Colton and NYC Councilmember Zhuang. We appreciate all the kind words that were spoken by the elected officials, clergy, and community leaders. We vow NEVER TO FORGET.

Twenty-four years later, we remember the lives lost and honor the heroism and sacrifices of our first responders. We will always remember the terrorist attacks that disrupted our city and our country, inflicting a lasting tragedy that forever changed us. We will never forget.
