15 years ago today, Discovery rises into the heavens for its final flight. At 4:53 p.m. ET, space shuttle Discovery lifted off with a crew of 6 for STS-133, its 39th mission. Over its 27 years in service, this shuttle spent more time in orbit than any other orbiter: 365 days!

Got a haircut. Took about 15 minutes as I ain’t got much. When she was ringing it up I pointed out that I was old enough to get the lower cost. She updated and I put it on a card. Then I pulled out a $20. “Are you paying cash?” “No, this is your tip.” Her reaction was great.

My annual appeal regarding #DaylightSavingsTime: Instead of springing forward at 2 am Sunday, move the time ahead at 4 pm on Friday. Now it's 5 pm, time to leave work and enjoy the weekend!

I’m glad that the Artemis II launch went so well. Kind of regret that I wasn’t the ascent Prop officer which was the plan until about a couple of years ago. Got kind of side tracked.
